1. ಕರಾಗ್ರೇ ವಸತೇ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಃ ಕರಮಧ್ಯೇ ಸರಸ್ವತೀ।
   ಕರಮೂಲೇ ತು ಗೋವಿನ್ದಃ ಪ್ರಭಾತೇ ಕರದರ್ಶನಮ್॥

   Karagre vasate Lakshmih, karamadhye Sarasvati. Karamule tu Govindah, prabhate karadarshanam.

   Lakshmi lives at the fingertips, Saraswati in the middle of the hand, and Govinda at its base. So look at your palms when you wake.
