ருத்ர³ கா³யத்ரீ மம்ʼத்ர

ௐ தத்புருஷாய வித்³மஹே மஹாதே³வாய தீ⁴மஹி।
தந்நோ ருத்ர³꞉ ப்ரசோத³யாத்॥Om tatpurushaya vidmahe mahadevaya dhimahi, tanno rudrah prachodayat.
Om. May we know the Supreme Person; may we meditate on Mahadeva, the great god. May Rudra inspire and guide our minds.
