1. आरती श्री रामायण जी की, कीरति कलित ललित सिय पी की॥

   Aarti Shri Ramayan ji ki, keerati kalit lalit Siya pi ki.

   This is the aarti of the holy Ramayana, rich with the lovely glory of Sita’s beloved, Ram.

   श्री रामायण जी की आरती, जिसमें सीता के प्रियतम श्रीराम की सुंदर कीर्ति भरी है।

2. गावत ब्रह्मादिक मुनि नारद, बालमीक बिग्यान बिसारद।
   शुक सनकादिक शेष अरु शारद, बरनि पवनसुत कीरति नीकी॥

   Gavat Brahmadik muni Narad, Balmeek bigyan bisarad. Shuk Sanakadik Shesh aru Sharad, barani Pavansut keerati neeki.

   Brahma and the other gods, the sage Narada and the learned Valmiki sing it; so do Shuka, Sanaka and his brothers, Shesha and Saraswati, and Hanuman, son of the Wind, tells its fine glory.

   ब्रह्मा आदि, नारद मुनि और ज्ञान में निपुण वाल्मीकि इसे गाते हैं; शुकदेव, सनकादि, शेष और शारदा भी गाते हैं, और पवनपुत्र इसकी सुंदर कीर्ति का वर्णन करते हैं।

3. गावत बेद पुरान अष्टदस, छओं शास्त्र सब ग्रंथन को रस।
   मुनि जन धन संतन को सरबस, सार अंश सम्मत सबही की॥

   Gavat Bed Puran ashtadas, chhaon shastra sab granthan ko ras. Muni jan dhan santan ko sarbas, saar ansh sammat sabahi ki.

   The Vedas, the eighteen Puranas and the six schools of philosophy sing it. It is the essence of all scriptures, the wealth of sages and the everything of saints, and its core is accepted by all.

   वेद, अठारह पुराण और छहों शास्त्र इसे गाते हैं। यह सब ग्रंथों का रस है, मुनियों का धन और संतों का सर्वस्व है, और इसका सार सबको मान्य है।

4. गावत संतत शंभु भवानी, अरु घटसंभव मुनि बिग्यानी।
   ब्यास आदि कबिबर्ज बखानी, कागभुशुंडि गरुड़ के ही की॥

   Gavat santat Shambhu Bhavani, aru Ghatsambhav muni bigyani. Byas aadi kabibarj bakhani, Kagbhushundi Garud ke hi ki.

   Shiva and Parvati sing it always, as does the wise sage Agastya, born from a pot. Vyasa and other great poets have told it, and it is dear to the hearts of Kakabhushundi and Garuda.

   शंभु और भवानी इसे सदा गाते हैं, और ज्ञानी मुनि अगस्त्य (घटसंभव) भी। व्यास आदि श्रेष्ठ कवियों ने इसका बखान किया है, और यह काकभुशुंडि और गरुड़ के हृदय की वस्तु है।

5. कलिमल हरनि बिषय रस फीकी, सुभग सिंगार मुक्ति जुबती की।
   दलन रोग भव मूरि अमी की, तात मात सब बिधि तुलसी की॥

   Kalimal harani bishay ras pheeki, subhag singar mukti jubati ki. Dalan rog bhav moori ami ki, taat maat sab bidhi Tulsi ki.

   It removes the impurities of the Kali age and makes worldly pleasures seem dull; it is the lovely adornment of liberation. A nectar-like root that cures the disease of worldly life, it is father and mother to Tulsidas in every way.

   यह कलियुग के पाप हरती है और विषयों के रस को फीका कर देती है; यह मुक्ति रूपी युवती का सुंदर श्रृंगार है। संसार रूपी रोग को मिटाने वाली अमृत-जड़ी है, और तुलसीदास के लिए हर तरह से माता-पिता है।
