1. आरती युगलकिशोर की कीजै, तन मन धन न्यौछावर कीजै॥

   Aarti Yugalkishore ki keejai, tan man dhan nyauchhavar keejai.

   Perform the aarti of the divine young couple, Radha and Krishna, and offer them your body, mind and wealth.

   युगलकिशोर (राधा-कृष्ण) की आरती कीजिए और तन, मन, धन उन पर न्योछावर कीजिए।

2. गौरश्याम मुख निरखन लीजै, हरि का स्वरूप नयन भरि पीजै॥

   Gaur Shyam mukh nirakhan leejai, Hari ka swaroop nayan bhari peejai.

   Gaze at the fair face of Radha and the dark face of Krishna, and drink in the Lord’s form with your eyes.

   गोरी राधा और साँवले श्याम के मुख को निहारिए, और हरि के स्वरूप को आँखें भरकर पीजिए।

3. रवि शशि कोटि बदन की शोभा, ताहि निरखि मेरो मन लोभा॥

   Ravi shashi koti badan ki shobha, tahi nirakhi mero man lobha.

   Their faces shine like millions of suns and moons; seeing them, my heart is captivated.

   उनके मुख की शोभा करोड़ों सूर्य और चंद्रमा जैसी है; उसे देखकर मेरा मन लुभा गया।

4. ओढ़े नील पीत पट सारी, कुंजबिहारी गिरिवरधारी॥

   Odhe neel peet pat sari, Kunjbihari Girivardhari.

   She wears a blue sari and he a yellow robe: Krishna who roams the groves and held up the mountain.

   राधा नीली साड़ी और कृष्ण पीला वस्त्र ओढ़े हैं: कुंजों में विहार करने वाले, गिरिवरधारी।

5. फूलन सेज फूल की माला, रत्न सिंहासन बैठे नंदलाला॥

   Phoolan sej phool ki mala, ratna sinhasan baithe Nandlala.

   On a bed of flowers, wearing a flower garland, Nanda’s darling sits on a jewelled throne.

   फूलों की सेज और फूलों की माला है; नंदलाला रत्न-सिंहासन पर बैठे हैं।

6. कंचन थार कपूर की बाती, हरि आए निर्मल भई छाती॥

   Kanchan thaar kapoor ki baati, Hari aaye nirmal bhai chhati.

   A golden plate holds a camphor flame. Hari has come, and my heart has become pure.

   सोने की थाली में कपूर की बाती है। हरि आए और मेरा हृदय निर्मल हो गया।

7. श्री पुरुषोत्तम गिरिवरधारी, आरती करें सकल ब्रजनारी॥

   Shri Purushottam Girivardhari, aarti karen sakal Brajnari.

   All the women of Braj perform the aarti of Shri Purushottam, the supreme being who held up the mountain.

   ब्रज की सारी नारियाँ श्री पुरुषोत्तम गिरिवरधारी की आरती करती हैं।

8. नंदनंदन बृजभान किशोरी, परमानंद स्वामी अविचल जोरी॥

   Nandnandan Brijbhan Kishori, Paramanand swami avichal jori.

   Nanda’s son and Vrishabhanu’s daughter: says Paramanand, my lords are an eternal, unshakable pair.

   नंदनंदन और वृषभानु-किशोरी की जोड़ी, परमानंद के स्वामी, अटल और अविचल है।
