1. बारम्बार प्रणाम, मैया बारम्बार प्रणाम॥

   Barambar pranam, maiya barambar pranam.

   I bow to you again and again, Mother, again and again.

   माँ, आपको बार-बार प्रणाम, बार-बार प्रणाम।

2. जो नहीं ध्यावे तुम्हें अम्बिके, कहाँ उसे विश्राम।
   अन्नपूर्णा देवी नाम तिहारो, लेत होत सब काम॥

   Jo nahin dhyave tumhen Ambike, kahan use vishram. Annapurna devi naam tiharo, let hot sab kaam.

   Mother Ambika, where can anyone who does not meditate on you find rest? Your name is Goddess Annapurna, and saying it gets every task done.

   हे अंबिके, जो आपका ध्यान नहीं करता, उसे विश्राम कहाँ? आपका नाम अन्नपूर्णा देवी है, जिसे लेते ही सब काम हो जाते हैं।

3. प्रलय युगान्तर और जन्मान्तर, कालान्तर तक नाम।
   सुर सुरों की रचना करती, कहाँ कृष्ण कहाँ राम॥

   Pralay yugantar aur janmantar, kalantar tak naam. Sur suron ki rachna karti, kahan Krishna kahan Ram.

   Your name endures through dissolutions, ages, lifetimes and all of time. You create even the gods; without you, where would Krishna or Ram be?

   प्रलय, युगों, जन्मों और कालों के पार तक आपका नाम रहता है। आप देवताओं की भी रचना करती हैं; आपके बिना कहाँ कृष्ण और कहाँ राम?

4. चूमहि चरण चतुर चतुरानन, चारु चक्रधर श्याम।
   चन्द्रचूड़ चन्द्रानन चाकर, शोभा लखहि ललाम॥

   Choomahi charan chatur Chaturanan, charu Chakradhar Shyam. Chandrachood Chandranan chakar, shobha lakhahi lalam.

   Wise four-faced Brahma and handsome dark Vishnu, who holds the discus, kiss your feet. Moon-crowned Shiva serves you, moon-faced one, and gazes at your lovely beauty.

   चतुर चतुरानन ब्रह्मा और सुंदर चक्रधारी श्याम आपके चरण चूमते हैं। हे चंद्रमुखी, चंद्रचूड़ शिव आपके सेवक हैं और आपकी सुंदर शोभा निहारते हैं।

5. देवि देव दयनीय दशा में, दया दया तव नाम।
   त्राहि त्राहि शरणागत वत्सल, शरण रूप तव धाम॥

   Devi dev dayaniya dasha mein, daya daya tav naam. Trahi trahi sharanagat vatsal, sharan roop tav dham.

   Goddess, when even the gods are in a pitiful state, your name is mercy itself. Save us, save us, you who love those who seek refuge; your home is refuge itself.

   हे देवी, जब देवता भी दयनीय दशा में होते हैं, तब आपका नाम ही दया है। रक्षा करो, रक्षा करो, शरणागतों पर स्नेह रखने वाली; आपका धाम ही शरण है।

6. श्रीं ह्रीं श्रद्धा श्रीं ऐं विद्या, श्रीं क्लीं कमला काम।
   कान्ति भ्रान्तिमयी कान्ति शान्तिमयी, वर दे तू निष्काम॥

   Shreem hreem shraddha shreem aim vidya, shreem kleem Kamala kaam. Kanti bhrantimayi kanti shantimayi, var de tu nishkam.

   Invoked with the seed syllables shreem and hreem you are faith, with shreem and aim you are learning, with shreem and kleem you are Lakshmi and desire. You are the radiance of illusion and the radiance of peace, and you grant boons wanting nothing in return.

   श्रीं ह्रीं बीज से आप श्रद्धा, श्रीं ऐं से विद्या, और श्रीं क्लीं से कमला (लक्ष्मी) और काम हैं। आप भ्रांतिमयी कांति भी हैं और शांतिमयी कांति भी, और बिना किसी कामना के वर देती हैं।
