1. ডুব দে রে মন কালী বলে।
   হৃদি-রত্নাকরের অগাধ জলে॥

   Dub de re mon Kali bole. Hridi-rotnakorer ogadh jole.

   Dive deep, mind, crying “Kali”, into the bottomless waters of the heart, that ocean of jewels.

   मन, ‘काली’ कहकर डुबकी लगा, हृदय रूपी रत्नों के सागर के अथाह जल में।

2. রত্নাকর নয় শূন্য কখন, দু-চার ডুবে ধন না পেলে।
   তুমি দম-সামর্থ্যে এক ডুবে যাও, কুল-কুণ্ডলিনীর কূলে॥

   Rotnakor noy shunno kokhon, du-char dube dhon na pele. Tumi dom-shamorthe ek dube jao, kul-kundolinir kule.

   The ocean of jewels is never empty, even if a few dives bring up no treasure. With the strength of your breath, go down in one dive to the shore of the Kundalini.

   रत्नों का सागर कभी खाली नहीं होता, भले ही दो-चार डुबकियों में धन न मिले। साँस की शक्ति से एक ही डुबकी में कुंडलिनी के किनारे तक पहुँच जा।

3. জ্ঞান-সমুদ্রের মাঝে রে মন, শক্তিরূপা মুক্তা ফলে।
   তুমি ভক্তি করে কুড়ায়ে পাবে, শিবযুক্তি মতন চাইলে॥

   Ggan-shomudrer majhe re mon, Shoktirupa mukta phole. Tumi bhokti kore kuraye pabe, Shibojukti moton chaile.

   In the ocean of knowledge, mind, grow pearls that are Shakti herself. You will gather them through devotion, if you seek them in the way Shiva taught.

   मन, ज्ञान के सागर में शक्ति-रूपी मोती उगते हैं। अगर शिव के बताए ढंग से खोजो, तो भक्ति से उन्हें बटोर लोगे।

4. কামাদি ছয় কুম্ভীর আছে, আহার-লোভে সদাই চলে।
   তুমি বিবেক-হলদি গায় মেখে যাও, ছোঁবে না তার গন্ধ পেলে॥

   Kamadi chhoy kumbhir achhe, ahar-lobhe shodai chole. Tumi bibek-holdi gay mekhe jao, chhonbe na tar gondho pele.

   Six crocodiles, lust and the rest, live there, always prowling for food. Rub the turmeric of discernment on your body; when they smell it, they will not touch you.

   वहाँ काम आदि छह मगरमच्छ हैं, जो भोजन के लालच में हमेशा घूमते रहते हैं। विवेक की हल्दी शरीर पर मलकर जा; उसकी गंध पाकर वे तुझे छुएँगे नहीं।

5. রতন মাণিক্য কত পড়ে আছে সেই জলে।
   রামপ্রসাদ বলে ঝম্প দিলে, মিলবে রতন ফলে ফলে॥

   Roton manikko koto pore achhe shei jole. Ramproshad bole jhompo dile, milbe roton phole phole.

   So many gems and rubies lie in those waters. Ramprasad says: if you plunge in, you will find jewels again and again.

   उस जल में कितने ही रत्न और माणिक पड़े हैं। रामप्रसाद कहते हैं: छलाँग लगाओ तो बार-बार रत्न मिलेंगे।
