गौरांग बलिते हबे

1. গৌরাঙ্গ বলিতে হবে পুলক-শরীর।
   হরি হরি বলিতে নয়নে ববে নীর॥

   Gouranga bolite hobe pulok-shorir. Hori Hori bolite noyone bobe nir.

   When will my body thrill as I say ‘Gauranga’? When will tears flow from my eyes as I say ‘Hari, Hari’?

   कब ऐसा होगा कि गौरांग कहते ही शरीर पुलकित हो जाए, और हरि हरि कहते ही आँखों से आँसू बहने लगें?

2. আর কবে নিতাইচাঁদ করুণা করিবে।
   সংসার-বাসনা মোর কবে তুচ্ছ হবে॥

   Ar kobe Nitaichand koruna koribe. Shongshar-bashona mor kobe tuchchho hobe.

   When will Nitaichand show me mercy? When will my worldly desires seem worthless to me?

   निताईचाँद कब मुझ पर करुणा करेंगे? कब मेरी संसार की वासनाएँ तुच्छ लगने लगेंगी?

3. বিষয় ছাড়িয়া কবে শুদ্ধ হবে মন।
   কবে হাম হেরব শ্রীবৃন্দাবন॥

   Bishoy chhariya kobe shuddho hobe mon. Kobe ham herobo Shri Brindabon.

   When will my mind give up worldly things and become pure? When will I see holy Vrindavan?

   कब विषयों को छोड़कर मेरा मन शुद्ध होगा? कब मैं श्री वृंदावन के दर्शन करूँगा?

4. রূপ রঘুনাথ বলি হইবে আকুতি।
   কবে হাম বুঝব সে যুগল-পিরীতি॥

   Rup Roghunath boli hoibe akuti. Kobe ham bujhobo she jugol-piriti.

   When will I yearn, calling out the names of Rupa and Raghunatha? When will I understand the love of the divine couple?

   कब रूप और रघुनाथ का नाम लेते हुए मन व्याकुल होगा? कब मैं उस युगल (राधा-कृष्ण) के प्रेम को समझूँगा?

5. রূপ-রঘুনাথ-পদে রহু মোর আশ।
   প্রার্থনা করয়ে সদা নরোত্তমদাস॥

   Rup-Roghunath-pode rohu mor ash. Prarthona koroye shoda Norottomdash.

   May my hope rest at the feet of Rupa and Raghunatha. This is Narottama Dasa’s constant prayer.

   रूप और रघुनाथ के चरणों में मेरी आशा बनी रहे। नरोत्तमदास सदा यही प्रार्थना करते हैं।
