1. ॐ जय परशुधारी, स्वामी जय परशुधारी।
   सुर नर मुनिजन सेवत, श्रीपति अवतारी॥

   Om jai Parshudhari, swami jai Parshudhari. Sur nar munijan sevat, Shripati avatari.

   Om, victory to the bearer of the axe, Lord Parashuram. Gods, people and sages serve you, incarnation of Vishnu.

   ॐ, फरसा धारण करने वाले स्वामी की जय हो। देवता, मनुष्य और मुनि आपकी सेवा करते हैं; आप लक्ष्मीपति विष्णु के अवतार हैं।

2. जमदग्नी सुत नर-सिंह, माँ रेणुका जाया।
   मार्तण्ड भृगु वंशज, त्रिभुवन यश छाया॥

   Jamadagni sut nar-sinh, maan Renuka jaya. Martand Bhrigu vanshaj, tribhuvan yash chhaya.

   Son of Jamadagni, a lion among men, born of Mother Renuka; radiant as the sun, of Bhrigu’s line, your fame fills the three worlds.

   जमदग्नि के पुत्र, नरों में सिंह, माँ रेणुका से जन्मे; सूर्य जैसे तेजस्वी, भृगु-वंशी, आपका यश तीनों लोकों में छाया है।

3. कांधे सूत्र जनेऊ, गल रुद्राक्ष माला।
   चरण खड़ाऊँ शोभे, तिलक त्रिपुण्ड भाला॥

   Kandhe sootra janeu, gal rudraksh mala. Charan khadaun shobhe, tilak tripund bhala.

   The sacred thread hangs from your shoulder and a rudraksha rosary from your neck. Wooden sandals grace your feet, and three lines of ash mark your forehead.

   कंधे पर जनेऊ और गले में रुद्राक्ष की माला है। पैरों में खड़ाऊँ शोभित हैं और माथे पर त्रिपुंड तिलक है।

4. ताम्र श्याम घन केशा, शीश जटा बांधी।
   सुजन हेतु ऋतु मधुमय, दुष्ट दलन आंधी॥

   Tamra shyam ghan kesha, sheesh jata bandhi. Sujan hetu ritu madhumay, dusht dalan aandhi.

   Your thick hair, copper and dark, is tied in a knot on your head. To good people you are sweet as spring; to the wicked, a storm that crushes them.

   आपके घने केश ताँबई और काले हैं, सिर पर जटा बँधी है। सज्जनों के लिए आप वसंत जैसे मधुर हैं और दुष्टों के लिए उन्हें कुचलने वाली आँधी।

5. मुख रवि तेज विराजत, रक्त वर्ण नैना।
   दीन-हीन गो विप्रन, रक्षक दिन रैना॥

   Mukh ravi tej virajat, rakt varn naina. Deen-heen go vipran, rakshak din raina.

   Your face glows like the sun and your eyes are red. Day and night you protect the poor and helpless, cows and Brahmins.

   आपके मुख पर सूर्य जैसा तेज है और आँखें लाल हैं। आप दिन-रात दीन-हीन, गायों और ब्राह्मणों की रक्षा करते हैं।

6. कर शोभित बर परशु, निगमागम ज्ञाता।
   कंध चाप-शर वैष्णव, ब्राह्मण कुल त्राता॥

   Kar shobhit bar parshu, nigamagam gyata. Kandh chaap-shar Vaishnav, Brahman kul trata.

   A fine axe graces your hand, and you know the Vedas and scriptures. With Vishnu’s bow and arrows on your shoulder, you protect the Brahmin line.

   हाथ में सुंदर फरसा शोभित है और आप वेद-शास्त्रों के ज्ञाता हैं। कंधे पर वैष्णव धनुष-बाण है; आप ब्राह्मण कुल के रक्षक हैं।

7. माता पिता तुम स्वामी, मीत सखा मेरे।
   मेरी बिरद संभारो, द्वार पड़ा मैं तेरे॥

   Mata pita tum swami, meet sakha mere. Meri birad sambharo, dvar pada main tere.

   Lord, you are my mother and father, my friend and companion. Keep your promise to protect me; I lie at your door.

   हे स्वामी, आप ही मेरे माता-पिता, मित्र और सखा हैं। मेरी रक्षा का अपना वचन निभाइए; मैं आपके द्वार पर पड़ा हूँ।

8. अजर-अमर श्री परशुराम की, आरती जो गावे।
   पूर्णेन्दु शिव साखि, सुख सम्पति पावे॥

   Ajar-amar Shri Parshuram ki, aarti jo gave. Poornendu Shiv sakhi, sukh sampati pave.

   Whoever sings the aarti of the ageless, deathless Shri Parashuram gains happiness and wealth; Purnendu says so, with Shiva as witness.

   जो अजर-अमर श्री परशुराम की आरती गाता है, वह सुख और संपत्ति पाता है; पूर्णेंदु कहते हैं, शिव इसके साक्षी हैं।
