1. जय जय श्री शनिदेव भक्तन हितकारी।
   सूरज के पुत्र प्रभु छाया महतारी॥

   Jai jai Shri Shanidev bhaktan hitkaari. Sooraj ke putra prabhu, Chhaya mahtaari.

   Glory to Shani Dev, who does good to his devotees; son of the Sun, with Chhaya as his mother.

   भक्तों का हित करने वाले श्री शनिदेव की जय हो, जो सूर्य के पुत्र हैं और जिनकी माता छाया हैं।

2. श्याम अंग वक्र दृष्टि चतुर्भुजा धारी।
   नीलाम्बर धार नाथ गज की असवारी॥

   Shyaam ang vakra drishti chaturbhuja dhaari. Neelaambar dhaar naath gaj ki asvaari.

   Dark of body, with a sidelong gaze and four arms, the Lord wears blue and rides an elephant.

   श्याम शरीर, टेढ़ी दृष्टि और चार भुजाओं वाले प्रभु नीले वस्त्र पहनते हैं और हाथी पर सवार होते हैं।

3. क्रीट मुकुट शीश राजित दिपत है लिलारी।
   मुक्तन की माला गले शोभित बलिहारी॥

   Kreet mukut sheesh raajit dipat hai lilaari. Muktan ki maala gale shobhit balihaari.

   A crown shines on his head and his forehead glows; a necklace of pearls adorns his throat. I offer myself to him.

   सिर पर किरीट मुकुट शोभित है और ललाट दमक रहा है; गले में मोतियों की माला सुंदर लगती है, मैं उन पर बलिहारी जाऊँ।

4. मोदक मिष्ठान पान चढ़त हैं सुपारी।
   लोहा तिल तेल उड़द महिषी अति प्यारी॥

   Modak mishthaan paan chadhat hain supaari. Loha til tel udad mahishi ati pyaari.

   Sweets, betel leaf and areca nut are offered to him; iron, sesame, oil, black gram and the buffalo are very dear to him.

   उन्हें मोदक, मिठाई, पान और सुपारी चढ़ाए जाते हैं; लोहा, तिल, तेल, उड़द और भैंस उन्हें अति प्रिय हैं।

5. देव दनुज ऋषि मुनि सुमिरत नर नारी।
   विश्वनाथ धरत ध्यान शरण हैं तुम्हारी॥

   Dev danuj rishi muni sumirat nar naari. Vishvanath dharat dhyaan sharan hain tumhaari.

   Gods, demons, sages, men and women all remember you. Vishvanath meditates on you; we are in your refuge.

   देवता, दानव, ऋषि-मुनि और नर-नारी सब आपका स्मरण करते हैं। विश्वनाथ भी आपका ध्यान करते हैं; हम आपकी शरण में हैं।
