शीश गंग अर्धंग पार्वती

शीश गंग अर्धंग पार्वती, सदा विराजत कैलासी।
नंदी भृंगी नृत्य करत हैं, धरत ध्यान सुर सुखरासी॥Sheesh Gang ardhang Parvati, sada virajat Kailasi. Nandi Bhringi nritya karat hain, dharat dhyan sur sukhrasi.
With the Ganga on his head and Parvati as half his body, Shiva always dwells on Kailash. Nandi and Bhringi dance, and the gods meditate on him, the treasury of joy.
सिर पर गंगा और आधे अंग में पार्वती, कैलासवासी शिव सदा विराजते हैं। नंदी और भृंगी नाचते हैं, और देवता सुख के भंडार शिव का ध्यान करते हैं।

शीतल मन्द सुगन्ध पवन बह, बैठे हैं शिव अविनाशी।
करत गान गन्धर्व सप्त स्वर, राग रागिनी मधुरासी॥Sheetal mand sugandh pavan bah, baithe hain Shiv avinashi. Karat gaan Gandharv sapt svar, raag ragini madhurasi.
A cool, gentle, fragrant breeze blows where the eternal Shiva sits. The Gandharvas sing in the seven notes, in sweet ragas and raginis.
शीतल, मंद, सुगंधित पवन बह रही है और अविनाशी शिव बैठे हैं। गंधर्व सात स्वरों में मधुर राग-रागिनियाँ गाते हैं।

यक्ष रक्ष भैरव जहँ डोलत, बोलत हैं वन के वासी।
कोयल शब्द सुनावत सुन्दर, भ्रमर करत हैं गुंजा-सी॥Yaksh raksh Bhairav jahan dolat, bolat hain van ke vasi. Koyal shabd sunavat sundar, bhramar karat hain gunja-si.
Yakshas, rakshasas and Bhairavas roam there, and the creatures of the forest call out. The cuckoo sings sweetly and the bees hum.
जहाँ यक्ष, राक्षस और भैरव घूमते हैं और वन के प्राणी बोलते हैं। कोयल सुंदर स्वर सुनाती है और भौंरे गुंजार करते हैं।

कल्पद्रुम अरु पारिजात तरु, लाग रहे हैं लक्षासी।
कामधेनु कोटिन जहँ डोलत, करत दुग्ध की वर्षा-सी॥Kalpadrum aru Parijat taru, laag rahe hain lakshasi. Kamdhenu kotin jahan dolat, karat dugdh ki varsha-si.
Wish-fulfilling trees and Parijata trees grow there by the hundred thousand, and millions of wish-granting cows wander about, showering milk like rain.
वहाँ लाखों कल्पवृक्ष और पारिजात के पेड़ लगे हैं, और करोड़ों कामधेनु घूमती हैं, मानो दूध की वर्षा कर रही हों।

सूर्यकान्त सम पर्वत शोभित, चन्द्रकान्त सम हिमराशी।
नित्य छहों ऋतु रहत सुशोभित, सेवत सदा प्रकृति दासी॥Suryakant sam parvat shobhit, Chandrakant sam himrashi. Nitya chhahon ritu rahat sushobhit, sevat sada prakriti dasi.
The mountain shines like a sunstone and its snows gleam like moonstone. All six seasons are always there in their beauty, and Nature serves as a handmaid.
पर्वत सूर्यकांत मणि जैसा शोभित है और बर्फ़ चंद्रकांत मणि जैसी चमकती है। छहों ऋतुएँ सदा वहाँ शोभा देती हैं और प्रकृति दासी बनकर सेवा करती है।

ऋषि मुनि देव दनुज नित सेवत, गान करत श्रुति गुणराशी।
ब्रह्मा विष्णु निहारत निसिदिन, कछु शिव हमकूँ फरमासी॥Rishi muni dev danuj nit sevat, gaan karat shruti gunrashi. Brahma Vishnu niharat nisidin, kachhu Shiv hamkoon pharmasi.
Seers, sages, gods and demons serve him daily, and the Vedas sing of him, the treasury of virtues. Brahma and Vishnu watch him day and night, hoping Shiva will give them some command.
ऋषि, मुनि, देवता और दानव नित्य सेवा करते हैं, और वेद गुणों के भंडार शिव का गान करते हैं। ब्रह्मा और विष्णु दिन-रात निहारते हैं कि शिव हमें कुछ आज्ञा दें।

ऋद्धि सिद्धि के दाता शंकर, नित सत् चित् आनन्दराशी।
जिनके सुमिरत ही कट जाती, कठिन काल यम की फाँसी॥Riddhi siddhi ke data Shankar, nit sat chit anandrasi. Jinke sumirat hi kat jati, kathin kaal Yam ki phansi.
Shankar gives prosperity and success; he is forever being, consciousness and bliss. Just remembering him cuts the hard noose of death.
शंकर ऋद्धि-सिद्धि के दाता हैं, सदा सत्-चित्-आनंद के भंडार हैं। उनका स्मरण करते ही यम का कठिन फंदा कट जाता है।

त्रिशूलधर जी का नाम निरन्तर, प्रेम सहित जो नर गासी।
दूर होय विपदा उस नर की, जन्म-जन्म शिवपद पासी॥Trishooldhar ji ka naam nirantar, prem sahit jo nar gasi. Door hoy vipda us nar ki, janm-janm Shivpad pasi.
Whoever lovingly and constantly sings the name of the trident-bearer is freed of misfortune and, birth after birth, reaches Shiva’s feet.
जो मनुष्य प्रेम से निरंतर त्रिशूलधारी का नाम गाता है, उसकी विपदा दूर हो जाती है और वह जन्म-जन्म शिव के चरण पाता है।

कैलासी काशी के वासी, अविनाशी मेरी सुध लीजो।
सेवक जान सदा चरनन को, अपनो जान कृपा कीजो॥Kailasi Kashi ke vasi, avinashi meri sudh leejo. Sevak jaan sada charnan ko, apno jaan kripa keejo.
Dweller of Kailash and Kashi, eternal one, look after me. Know me as a servant of your feet forever, and be kind to me as your own.
हे कैलासवासी, काशीवासी अविनाशी, मेरी सुध लीजिए। मुझे सदा अपने चरणों का सेवक जानकर, अपना मानकर कृपा कीजिए।

तुम तो प्रभुजी सदा दयामय, अवगुण मेरे सब ढकियो।
सब अपराध क्षमाकर शंकर, किंकर की विनती सुनियो॥Tum to prabhuji sada dayamay, avgun mere sab dhakiyo. Sab apradh kshamakar Shankar, kinkar ki vinti suniyo.
Lord, you are always full of mercy; cover all my faults. Shankar, forgive all my wrongs and hear the prayer of your servant.
प्रभु जी, आप सदा दयामय हैं; मेरे सारे अवगुण ढक लीजिए। हे शंकर, सब अपराध क्षमा करके अपने सेवक की विनती सुनिए।
