1. తారక మంత్రము కోరిన దొరికెను, ధన్యుడ నైతిని ఓరన్నా

   Taraka mantramu korina dorikenu, dhanyuda naitini oranna

   I longed for the saving mantra and I found it; I am blessed, my friend.

   मैंने तारक मंत्र चाहा और वह मुझे मिल गया; मैं धन्य हो गया, भाई।

2. మీరిన కాలుని దూతల పాలిటి, మృత్యువుయని మది నమ్ముకయున్న

   Meerina kaluni dutala paliti, mrityuvuyani madi nammukayunna

   I trust in my heart that it is death itself to the arrogant messengers of Yama.

   मुझे मन में पूरा विश्वास है कि यह मंत्र घमंडी यमदूतों के लिए स्वयं मृत्यु है।

3. మచ్చికతో నితరాంతరమ్ముల మాయలలో పడబోకన్నా, హెచ్చుగ నూటయెనిమిది తిరుపతు లెలమి తిరుగ పనిలేదన్నా, ముచ్చటగా తా పుణ్యనదులలో మునుగుట పని యేమిటికన్నా, వచ్చెడి పరువపు దినములలో సుడివడుటలు మానకయున్న

   Machchikato nitarantaramula mayalalo padabokanna, hechchuga nutayenimidi tirupatulelami tiruga paniledanna, muchchataga ta punyanadulalo munuguta pani yemitikanna, vachchedi paruvapu dinamulalo sudivadutalu manakayunna

   Don’t fall fondly into the illusions of other paths, brother; there’s no need to go eagerly round the hundred and eight holy shrines; what use are pleasant dips in sacred rivers, if you keep getting caught in the whirl of the days to come?

   दूसरे मार्गों की मायाओं में प्रेम से मत फँसो, भाई; एक सौ आठ तीर्थों में उत्साह से घूमने की कोई ज़रूरत नहीं; पवित्र नदियों में शौक से डुबकी लगाने का क्या लाभ, अगर आने वाले दिनों में संसार के भँवर में फँसना न छोड़ो?

4. ఎన్ని జన్మములనుండి చూచినను ఏకో నారాయణుడన్నా, అన్ని రూపులై యున్న పరాత్పరు నా మహాత్ముని కథ విన్నా, ఎన్ని జన్మముల జేసిన పాపము లీ జన్మముతో విడునన్నా, అన్నిటి కిది కడసారి జన్మము సత్యంబిక పుట్టుట సున్నా

   Enni janmamulanundi chuchinanu eko Narayanudanna, anni rupulai yunna paratparu na mahatmuni katha vinna, enni janmamula jesina papamu lee janmamuto vidunanna, annitiki idi kadasari janmamu satyambika puttuta sunna

   Look back over as many lives as you like, brother: Narayana alone is the One. Hear the story of that great Supreme who has become every form, and the sins of countless lives fall away in this one. This is the last birth of all; truly, there will be no more being born.

   भाई, कितने ही जन्मों से देखो, नारायण ही एक हैं। सब रूपों में बसे उस परात्पर महात्मा की कथा सुनो, तो अनगिनत जन्मों के पाप इसी जन्म में छूट जाते हैं। यह सबका अंतिम जन्म है; सच है, अब फिर जन्म नहीं होगा।

5. నిర్మల మంతర్లక్ష్య భావమున నిత్యానందముతో నున్న, కర్మంబులు విడి మోక్షపద్ధతిని కన్నుల నే జూచుచునున్న, ధర్మము తప్పక భద్రాద్రీశుని తన మదిలో నమ్ముకయున్న, మర్మము తెలిసిన రామదాసు హృన్మందిరముననే యున్న

   Nirmala mantarlakshya bhavamuna nityanandamuto nunna, karmambulu vidi mokshapaddhatini kannula ne juchuchununna, dharmamu tappaka Bhadradreesuni tana madilo nammukayunna, marmamu telisina Ramadasu hrinmandiramunane yunna

   I live in constant bliss with a pure, inward-turned mind; leaving karma behind, I see the way to liberation with my own eyes; never straying from dharma, I trust the lord of Bhadradri in my heart; he dwells in the heart-temple of Ramadasa, who knows the secret.

   मैं निर्मल, अंतर्मुखी भाव से सदा आनंद में हूँ; कर्मों को छोड़कर मोक्ष का मार्ग अपनी आँखों से देख रहा हूँ; धर्म से हटे बिना भद्राद्रि के स्वामी पर मन में भरोसा रखता हूँ; वे रहस्य जानने वाले रामदास के हृदय-मंदिर में ही बसे हैं।
