இருமலு ரோக முயலகன் வாத மெரிகுண நாசி விடமேநீ, ரிழிவுவி டாத தலைவலி சோகை யெழுகள மாலை யிவையோடே, பெருவயி றீளை யெரிகுலை சூலை பெருவலி வேறு முளநோய்கள், பிறவிகள் தோறு மெனைநலி யாத படியுன தாள்கள் அருள்வாயே.

हे वह, जिन्होंने अपना तीखा चमकता भाला ऐसे चलाया कि आगे बढ़ते करोड़ों असुर सैनिक गिर पड़े, जबकि काल के भैरव नाचते और अनेक गीत गाते आए; कल्पवृक्ष की छाया में रहने वाले मेघवाहन इंद्र द्वारा दी गई देवयानी के दूल्हे; जल के बीच फूल की तरह शान से खड़े तिरुत्तणि में बसने वाले महान प्रभु।
