1. பத்தியால் யானுனைப் பலகாலும், பற்றியே மாதிருப் புகழ்பாடி, முத்தனா மாறெனைப் பெருவாழ்வின், முத்தியே சேர்வதற் கருள்வாயே.

   Paththiyaal yaanunaip palakaalum, patriye maa thiruppugazh paadi, muththanaa maarenaip peruvaazhvin, muththiye servadharku arulvaaye.

   Bless me so that, holding on to you with devotion again and again and singing your great holy praise, I may be set free and reach liberation, the greatest life.

   ऐसी कृपा करो कि मैं भक्ति से बार-बार तुम्हें थामे रहूँ, तुम्हारी महान पावन स्तुति गाऊँ, और मुक्त होकर सबसे महान जीवन, मोक्ष, को पा सकूँ।

2. உத்தமா தானசற் குணர்நேயா, ஒப்பிலா மாமணிக் கிரிவாசா, வித்தகா ஞானசத் திநிபாதா, வெற்றிவே லாயுதப் பெருமாளே.

   Uththamaa dhaana satgunar nesaa, oppilaa maamanik girivaasaa, viththagaa gnaana sakthi nibaadhaa, vetrivel aayudhap perumaale.

   Noblest one, friend of the generous and the virtuous, dweller on the matchless Jewel Hill, wise one whose feet bestow the power of wisdom, great Lord whose weapon is the victorious spear.

   हे श्रेष्ठ, दानी और सद्गुणी लोगों के मित्र, बेजोड़ रत्नगिरि पर बसने वाले, ज्ञानी, जिनके चरण ज्ञान की शक्ति देते हैं, विजयी वेल को अस्त्र बनाने वाले महान प्रभु।
