1. విన్నపాలు వినవలె వింత వింతలు, పన్నగపు దోమతెర పైకెత్తవేలయ్యా

   Vinnapalu vinavale vinta vintalu, pannagapu domatera paikettavelayya

   Please listen to our many wondrous pleas; why don’t you lift the serpent-hood canopy over your bed and wake, Lord?

   हमारी तरह-तरह की अनोखी विनतियाँ सुनो; हे प्रभु, शेषनाग के फणों की चादर ऊपर उठाकर क्यों नहीं जागते?

2. తెల్లవారె జామెక్కె దేవతలు మునులు, అల్లనల్ల నంతనింత నదివో వారె, చల్లని తమ్మిరేకుల సారసపు గన్నులు, మెల్లమెల్లనె విచ్చి మేలుకొనవేలయ్యా

   Tellavare jamekke devatalu munulu, allanalla nantaninta nadivo vare, challani tammirekula sarasapu gannulu, mellamellane vichchi melukonavelayya

   Dawn has broken and the hour has come; look, the gods and sages are gathered all around. Slowly open your cool eyes, lovely as lotus petals, and wake up, Lord.

   सवेरा हो गया, पहर चढ़ आया; देखो, देवता और मुनि इधर-उधर इकट्ठे हैं। अपने ठंडे कमल-पंखुड़ी जैसे सुंदर नेत्र धीरे-धीरे खोलकर जाग जाओ, प्रभु।

3. గరుడ కిన్నర యక్ష కామినులు గములై, విరహపు గీతముల వింతాలాపాల, పరిపరివిధముల బాడేరు నిన్నదివో, సిరిమొగము దెరచి చిత్తగించవేలయ్యా

   Garuda kinnara yaksha kaminulu gamulai, virahapu geetamula vintalapala, paripari vidhamula baderu ninnadivo, sirimogamu derachi chittaginchavelayya

   Look, the women of the Garudas, kinnaras and yakshas have gathered in groups and sing to you in many ways, with songs of longing and wondrous melodies; turn your radiant face to them and listen, Lord.

   देखो, गरुड़, किन्नर और यक्षों की स्त्रियाँ झुंड बनाकर विरह के गीतों और अनोखे आलापों से तरह-तरह से तुम्हें गा रही हैं; अपना शोभामय मुख खोलकर ध्यान दो, प्रभु।

4. పొంకపు శేషాదులు తుంబురు నారదాదులు, పంకజభవాదులు నీ పాదాలు చేరి, అంకెల నున్నారు లేచి అలమేలుమంగను, వేంకటేశుడా రెప్పలు విచ్చి చూచి లేవయ్యా

   Ponkapu Seshadulu Tumburu Naradadulu, pankajabhavadulu nee padalu cheri, ankela nunnaru lechi Alamelumanganu, Venkatesuda reppalu vichchi chuchi levayya

   Proud Shesha and the others, Tumburu, Narada and the rest, Brahma and the gods have come to your feet and wait at your command; Venkatesha, open your eyes, look at Alamelumanga, and rise.

   गर्वीले शेष आदि, तुंबुरु, नारद आदि और ब्रह्मा आदि देवता तुम्हारे चरणों के पास आकर आज्ञा की प्रतीक्षा में हैं; हे वेंकटेश, पलकें खोलो, अलमेलुमंगा को देखो और उठो।
