Avinayamapanaya vishno damaya manah shamaya vishayamrigatrishnam, bhutadayam vistaraya taraya samsarasagaratah.

Vishnu, take away my arrogance, tame my mind, quiet my mirage-like thirst for sense pleasures, widen my compassion for all beings, and carry me across the ocean of worldly life.

    Divyadhunimakarande parimalaparibhogasachchidanande, shripatipadaravinde bhavabhayakhedachchhide vande.

I bow to the lotus feet of Lakshmi’s lord, whose nectar is the heavenly Ganga, whose fragrance is the joy of being, consciousness and bliss, and which cut away the fear and pain of worldly life.

Satyapi bhedapagame natha tavaham na mamakinastvam, samudro hi tarangah kvachana samudro na tarangah.

Even when all difference is gone, Lord, I am yours, but you are not mine: the wave belongs to the ocean, but the ocean never belongs to the wave.

Uddhritanaga nagabhidanuja danujakulamitra mitrashashidrishte, drishte bhavati prabhavati na bhavati kim bhavatiraskarah.

Lifter of the mountain, younger brother of Indra, enemy of the demon race, whose eyes are the sun and moon: once you, the Lord, are seen, does worldly existence not come to an end?

Matsyadibhiravatarairavataravatavata sada vasudham, parameshvara paripalyo bhavata bhavatapabhitoham.

Supreme Lord, who always protect the earth through your incarnations such as the Fish, I am afraid of the burning pain of worldly life; I am one for you to protect.

Damodara gunamandira sundaravadanaravinda govinda, bhavajaladhimathanamandara paramam daramapanaya tvam me.

Damodara, home of all virtues, Govinda with the lovely lotus face, Mount Mandara that churns the ocean of worldly life, take away my great fear.

Narayana karunamaya sharanam karavani tavakau charanau, iti shatpadi madiye vadanasaroje sada vasatu.

Narayana, full of compassion, let me take refuge at your two feet. May these six verses always dwell in the lotus of my mouth.
