1. ॐ जय नरसिंह हरे, प्रभु जय नरसिंह हरे।
   स्तम्भ फाड़ प्रभु प्रकटे, जन का ताप हरे॥

   Om jai Narsingh Hare, Prabhu jai Narsingh Hare. Stambh phad Prabhu prakate, jan ka taap hare.

   Om, victory to Narasimha, Hari; Lord, victory to Narasimha. Bursting from a pillar, the Lord appeared and took away his devotee’s suffering.

2. तुम हो दीन दयाला, भक्तन हितकारी।
   अद्भुत रूप बनाकर, प्रकटे भय हारी॥

   Tum ho deen dayala, bhaktan hitkari. Adbhut roop banakar, prakate bhay hari.

   You are kind to the humble and care for your devotees. Taking a wondrous form, you appeared to take away fear.

3. सबके हृदय विदारण, दस्यु जियो मारी।
   दास जान अपनायो, जन पर कृपा करी॥

   Sabke hriday vidaran, dasyu jiyo mari. Das jan apnayo, jan par kripa kari.

   You tore open the heart of the demon who tormented all and killed him. Knowing Prahlad as your servant, you took him as your own and showed him grace.

4. ब्रह्मा करत आरती, माला पहिनावे।
   शिवजी जय जय कहकर, पुष्पन बरसावे॥

   Brahma karat aarti, mala pahinave. Shivji jai jai kahkar, pushpan barsave.

   Brahma performs your aarti and places a garland on you, and Shiva showers flowers, crying “Victory, victory!”
