1. লোকাভিরামং রণরঙ্গধীরং রাজীবনেত্রং রঘুবংশনাথম্।
   কারুণ্যরূপং করুণাকরং তং শ্রীরামচন্দ্রং শরণং প্রপদ্যে॥

   Lokabhiramam ranarangadhiram rajivanetram raghuvamshanatham, karunyarupam karunakaram tam shriramachandram sharanam prapadye.

   I take refuge in Shri Ramachandra: the delight of the world, steadfast on the battlefield, lotus-eyed, lord of the Raghu line, compassion in human form and the source of all kindness.
