1. ಸಮುದ್ರವಸನೇ ದೇವಿ ಪರ್ವತಸ್ತನಮಣ್ಡಲೇ।
   ವಿಷ್ಣುಪತ್ನಿ ನಮಸ್ತುಭ್ಯಂ ಪಾದಸ್ಪರ್ಶಂ ಕ್ಷಮಸ್ವ ಮೇ॥

   Samudravasane devi parvatastanamandale, vishnupatni namastubhyam padasparsham kshamasva me.

   Goddess Earth, clothed by the oceans, with the mountains as your bosom, wife of Vishnu, I bow to you; forgive me for touching you with my feet.
