1. ஸமுத்ர³வஸநே தே³வி பர்வதஸ்தநமண்டலே³।
   விஷ்ணுபத்நி நமஸ்துப்⁴யம்ʼ பாத³ஸ்பர்ஶம்ʼ க்ஷமஸ்வ மே॥

   Samudravasane devi parvatastanamandale, vishnupatni namastubhyam padasparsham kshamasva me.

   Goddess Earth, clothed by the oceans, with the mountains as your bosom, wife of Vishnu, I bow to you; forgive me for touching you with my feet.
