নিদ্রাং ভগবতীং বিষ্ণোরতুলাং তেজসঃ প্রভুঃ॥Om vishveshvarim jagaddhatrim sthitisamharakarinim, nidram bhagavatim vishnoratulam tejasah prabhuh.
Om. Brahma, lord of radiance, praised the blessed Goddess who is Vishnu’s sleep: matchless ruler of the universe, upholder of the world, the one who sustains and dissolves it.

ত্বং স্বাহা ত্বং স্বধা ত্বং হি বষট্কারঃ স্বরাত্মিকা।
সুধা ত্বমক্ষরে নিত্যে ত্রিধা মাত্রাত্মিকা স্থিতা॥Tvam svaha tvam svadha tvam hi vashatkarah svaratmika, sudha tvamakshare nitye tridha matratmika sthita.
You are Svaha, Svadha and Vashat, the sacred calls of offering; you are the soul of sound. You are the nectar of immortality, and in the eternal syllable Om you dwell as its three parts.
অর্ধমাত্রাস্থিতা নিত্যা যানুচ্চার্যা বিশেষতঃ।
ত্বমেব সন্ধ্যা সাবিত্রী ত্বং দেবি জননী পরা॥Ardhamatrasthita nitya yanuchcharya visheshatah, tvameva sandhya savitri tvam devi janani para.
You are also its eternal half-measure, which cannot be spoken aloud. You are Sandhya and Savitri; you, Goddess, are the supreme mother.
ত্বযৈতদ্ধার্যতে বিশ্বং ত্বযৈতত্সৃজ্যতে জগৎ।
ত্বযৈতত্পাল্যতে দেবি ত্বমত্স্যন্তে চ সর্বদা॥Tvayaitaddharyate vishvam tvayaitatsrijyate jagat, tvayaitatpalyate devi tvamatsyante cha sarvada.
By you this universe is upheld, by you this world is created, by you it is protected, O Goddess, and at the end you always take it back into yourself.
বিসৃষ্টৌ সৃষ্টিরূপা ত্বং স্থিতিরূপা চ পালনে।
তথা সংহৃতিরূপান্তে জগতোঽস্য জগন্মযে॥Visrishtau srishtirupa tvam sthitirupa cha palane, tatha samhritirupante jagatosya jaganmaye.
You who are the world itself: at its making you are creation, in its keeping you are preservation, and at its end you are dissolution.
মহাবিদ্যা মহামাযা মহামেধা মহাস্মৃতিঃ।
মহামোহা চ ভবতী মহাদেবী মহাসুরী॥Mahavidya mahamaya mahamedha mahasmritih, mahamoha cha bhavati mahadevi mahasuri.
You are the great knowledge, the great illusion, the great intellect, the great memory and the great delusion; you are the great Goddess and the great fierce power.
প্রকৃতিস্ত্বং চ সর্বস্য গুণত্রযবিভাবিনী।
কালরাত্রির্মহারাত্রির্মোহরাত্রিশ্চ দারুণা॥Prakritistvam cha sarvasya gunatrayavibhavini, kalaratrirmaharatrirmoharatrishcha daruna.
You are Prakriti, the nature of all things, bringing forth the three qualities. You are the night of time, the great night, and the dreadful night of delusion.
ত্বং শ্রীস্ত্বমীশ্বরী ত্বং হ্রীস্ত্বং বুদ্ধির্বোধলক্ষণা।
লজ্জা পুষ্টিস্তথা তুষ্টিস্ত্বং শান্তিঃ ক্ষান্তিরেব চ॥Tvam shristvamishvari tvam hristvam buddhirbodhalakshana, lajja pushtistatha tushtistvam shantih kshantireva cha.
You are fortune, you are the ruler, you are modesty, you are understanding. You are shame, nourishment, contentment, peace and patience.
খড্গিনী শূলিনী ঘোরা গদিনী চক্রিণী তথা।
শঙ্খিনী চাপিনী বাণভুশুণ্ডীপরিঘাযুধা॥Khadgini shulini ghora gadini chakrini tatha, shankhini chapini banabhushundiparighayudha.
Fearsome, you carry the sword, trident, mace and discus, the conch and bow, and arrows, sling and club as your weapons.
সৌম্যা সৌম্যতরাশেষসৌম্যেভ্যস্ত্বতিসুন্দরী।
পরাপরাণাং পরমা ত্বমেব পরমেশ্বরী॥Saumya saumyatarasheshasaumyebhyastvatisundari, paraparanam parama tvameva parameshvari.
You are gentle, gentler than all gentle things and lovelier than all; highest of the high and the low, you alone are the supreme Goddess.
যচ্চ কিঞ্চিৎ ক্বচিদ্বস্তু সদসদ্বাখিলাত্মিকে।
তস্য সর্বস্য যা শক্তিঃ সা ত্বং কিং স্তূযসে তদা॥Yachcha kinchit kvachidvastu sadasadvakhilatmike, tasya sarvasya ya shaktih sa tvam kim stuyase tada.
Soul of all, whatever exists anywhere, real or unreal, you are the power behind it all. How then can anyone praise you?
যযা ত্বযা জগত্স্রষ্টা জগত্পাত্যত্তি যো জগৎ।
সোঽপি নিদ্রাবশং নীতঃ কস্ত্বাং স্তোতুমিহেশ্বরঃ॥Yaya tvaya jagatsrashta jagatpatyatti yo jagat, sopi nidravasham nitah kastvam stotumiheshvarah.
Even he who creates, protects and consumes the world has been put to sleep by you. Who here is able to praise you?
বিষ্ণুঃ শরীরগ্রহণমহমীশান এব চ।
কারিতাস্তে যতোঽতস্ত্বাং কঃ স্তোতুং শক্তিমান্ ভবেৎ॥Vishnuh shariragrahanamahamishana eva cha, karitaste yatotastvam kah stotum shaktiman bhavet.
It is you who made Vishnu, me and Shiva take on bodies. So who could have the power to praise you?
সা ত্বমিত্থং প্রভাবৈঃ স্বৈরুদারৈর্দেবি সংস্তুতা।
মোহযৈতৌ দুরাধর্ষাবসুরৌ মধুকৈটভৌ॥Sa tvamittham prabhavaih svairudarairdevi samstuta, mohayaitau duradharshavasurau madhukaitabhau.
O Goddess, praised thus for your own noble powers, cast your delusion over these two unconquerable demons, Madhu and Kaitabha.
প্রবোধং চ জগত্স্বামী নীযতামচ্যুতো লঘু।
বোধশ্চ ক্রিযতামস্য হন্তুমেতৌ মহাসুরৌ॥Prabodham cha jagatsvami niyatamachyuto laghu, bodhashcha kriyatamasya hantumetau mahasurau.
Let Vishnu, the undying lord of the world, be woken quickly, and let him be roused to slay these two great demons.
