1. അഗജാനന പദ്മാര്കം ഗജാനനമഹര്നിശമ്।
   അനേകദം തം ഭക്താനാമേകദന്തമുപാസ്മഹേ॥

   Agajanana padmarkam gajananamaharnisham, anekadam tam bhaktanamekadantamupasmahe.

   Day and night we worship the elephant-faced, one-tusked Lord, the sun that makes the lotus of Parvati’s face bloom, who gives many gifts to his devotees.
