1. அக³ஜாநந பத்³மார்கம்ʼ க³ஜாநநமஹர்நிஶம்।
   அநேகத³ம்ʼ தம்ʼ ப⁴க்தாநாமேகத³ந்தமுபாஸ்மஹே॥

   Agajanana padmarkam gajananamaharnisham, anekadam tam bhaktanamekadantamupasmahe.

   Day and night we worship the elephant-faced, one-tusked Lord, the sun that makes the lotus of Parvati’s face bloom, who gives many gifts to his devotees.
