1. అగజానన పద్మార్కం గజాననమహర్నిశమ్।
   అనేకదం తం భక్తానామేకదన్తముపాస్మహే॥

   Agajanana padmarkam gajananamaharnisham, anekadam tam bhaktanamekadantamupasmahe.

   Day and night we worship the elephant-faced, one-tusked Lord, the sun that makes the lotus of Parvati’s face bloom, who gives many gifts to his devotees.
