1. మనోజవం మారుతతుల్యవేగం జితేన్ద్రియం బుద్ధిమతాం వరిష్ఠమ్।
   వాతాత్మజం వానరయూథముఖ్యం శ్రీరామదూతం శరణం ప్రపద్యే॥

   Manojavam maruta tulya vegam, jitendriyam buddhimatam varishtham. Vatatmajam vanara yutha mukhyam, Shri Rama dutam sharanam prapadye.

   Swift as the mind, fast as the wind, master of the senses, foremost of the wise, son of the Wind, chief of the monkey army, messenger of Shri Ram: in him I take refuge.
