1. ವಕ್ರತುಣ್ಡ ಮಹಾಕಾಯ ಸೂರ್ಯಕೋಟಿ ಸಮಪ್ರಭ।
   ನಿರ್ವಿಘ್ನಂ ಕುರು ಮೇ ದೇವ ಸರ್ವಕಾರ್ಯೇಷು ಸರ್ವದಾ॥

   Vakratunda mahakaya, suryakoti samaprabha. Nirvighnam kuru me deva, sarva karyeshu sarvada.

   O god with the curved trunk and mighty body, bright as millions of suns: keep all my work free of obstacles, always.
