1. வக்ரதுண்ட³ மஹாகாய ஸூர்யகோடி ஸமப்ரப⁴।
   நிர்விக்⁴நம்ʼ குரு மே தே³வ ஸர்வகார்யேஷு ஸர்வதா³॥

   Vakratunda mahakaya, suryakoti samaprabha. Nirvighnam kuru me deva, sarva karyeshu sarvada.

   O god with the curved trunk and mighty body, bright as millions of suns: keep all my work free of obstacles, always.
