1. వక్రతుణ్డ మహాకాయ సూర్యకోటి సమప్రభ।
   నిర్విఘ్నం కురు మే దేవ సర్వకార్యేషు సర్వదా॥

   Vakratunda mahakaya, suryakoti samaprabha. Nirvighnam kuru me deva, sarva karyeshu sarvada.

   O god with the curved trunk and mighty body, bright as millions of suns: keep all my work free of obstacles, always.
