Om. I meditate on Matangi, seated on a jewelled throne, listening to a parrot’s sweet chatter; dark of body, one foot resting on a lotus, wearing the crescent moon and playing the vina; garlanded with water lilies, in a fitted bright bodice and red clothes, holding a conch-shell cup, sweetly flushed with honey wine, her forehead shining with a tilak.
