Angam hareh pulakabhushanamashrayanti bhringanganeva mukulabharanam tamalam, angikritakhilavibhutirapangalila mangalyadastu mama mangaladevatayah.

As a female bee settles on a tamala tree full of buds, her playful sidelong glance rests on Hari’s body, which thrills with joy at it. May that glance of the goddess of good fortune, which holds all wealth, bring me blessings.

Mugdha muhurvidadhati vadane murareh prematrapapranihitani gatagatani, mala drishormadhukariva mahotpale ya sa me shriyam dishatu sagarasambhavayah.

Her glances, shy and loving, come and go again and again on Murari’s face, like a bee hovering at a great blue lotus. May that garland of glances of the ocean-born goddess grant me prosperity.

Vishvamarendrapadavibhramadanadaksham anandaheturadhikam muravidvishopi, ishannishidatu mayi kshanamikshanardham indivarodarasahodaramindirayah.

Her glance can grant even the throne of Indra, king of the gods, and gives great joy even to Vishnu. May half a glance of Indira, Lakshmi, soft as the heart of a blue lily, rest on me for a moment.

Amilitakshamadhigamya muda mukundam anandakandamanimeshamanangatantram, akekarasthitakaninikapakshmanetram bhutyai bhavenmama bhujangashayanganayah.

With half-closed eyes she gazes in delight, unblinking, at Mukunda, the root of bliss, who is love itself. May those eyes of the beloved of Vishnu, who rests on the serpent, their lashes held in a sidelong look, bring me prosperity.

Bahvantare madhujitah shritakaustubhe ya haravaliva harinilamayi vibhati, kamaprada bhagavatopi katakshamala kalyanamavahatu me kamalalayayah.

Her garland of glances shines like a necklace of sapphires on the chest of Vishnu, slayer of Madhu, where the Kaustubha gem rests, and fulfils even the Lord’s wishes. May it bring me well-being, the glance of Lakshmi who lives in the lotus.

Kalambudalilalitorasi kaitabhareh dharadhare sphurati ya tadidanganeva, matuh samastajagatam mahaniyamurtih bhadrani me dishatu bhargavanandanayah.

Like a streak of lightning on a dark rain cloud, she flashes on the cloud-dark chest of Vishnu, enemy of Kaitabha. May that adorable form, mother of all worlds and daughter of Bhrigu, grant me blessings.

Praptam padam prathamatah khalu yatprabhavat mangalyabhaji madhumathini manmathena, mayyapatettadiha mantharamikshanardham mandalasam cha makaralayakanyakayah.

By the power of her glance, Kama, god of love, first found a place in the blessed Vishnu, slayer of Madhu. May that slow, languid half-glance of the ocean’s daughter fall on me here.

Dadyaddayanupavano dravinambudharam asminnakinchanavihangashishau vishanne, dushkarmagharmamapaniya chiraya duram narayanapranayininayanambuvahah.

May the rain cloud of the eyes of Narayana’s beloved, carried by the breeze of compassion, pour a stream of wealth on me, a poor and drooping fledgling, and drive away for good the scorching heat of my misdeeds.

Ishtavishishtamatayopi yaya dayardra drishtya trivishtapapadam sulabham labhante, drishtih prahrishtakamalodaradiptirishtam pushtim krishishta mama pushkaravishtarayah.

By her glance, moist with compassion, even people of ordinary merit easily reach heaven. May that glance, bright as the inside of a blooming lotus, of her who sits on the lotus, give me the abundance I long for.

Salutations to her, the young consort of the one teacher of the three worlds, who plays at creation, preservation and dissolution.
