Jaya jaya gokulabala jaya sakalagamamula, dayaya mam gopala dinam palaya bala.

Victory, victory to the child of Gokul; victory to the root of all scriptures. Gopala, child, in your mercy protect me, poor as I am.

Deva mayacharitamidam dinadhiyaparadham, shrivasudhadhava kripaya kevalamiha dhunihi.

Lord, with a feeble mind I have done this wrong. Husband of Lakshmi and the Earth, by your grace alone wash it away.

Ikshe tavakadehe isha jaganti nirihe, vikshashikshitamohe vedantagamagehe.

Lord, free of all desire, I see the worlds within your body; you whose glance taught delusion its lesson, the home of the Vedanta and scriptures.

    Jagadandakotitano jagadudarantarasutano, aganitasanjatamano aparimitashritadheno.

Your body holds millions of universes, yet you are a lovely child with the world inside your belly; countless minds are born of you, and endless cows take shelter in you.

Vitara mayishvara karunam vighataya mohavaranam, satatam me bhava sharanam sadhaya samsrititaranam.

Lord, grant me your compassion; tear away the veil of delusion. Be my refuge always, and carry me across the cycle of birth and death.

Iti vidhina parigitam shrutivachasa haricharitam, yatinarayanakathitam yadukulabhushanamuditam.

So, in the words of scripture and in proper form, the story of Hari is sung, told by the ascetic Narayana Teertha, in joy at the jewel of the Yadu clan.
